An indispensable force in a primarily male dominated construction industry, Jyoti Sherchan is the executor par excellence of the Sungava Apartments project. With a career spanning almost 50 years, from teaching in Institute of Engineering to working as a core pillar in Nepal’s premier design and construction firm, Creative Builders Collaborative (CBC), Jyoti is renowned for her organizational prowess and financial acumen. She was the third pillar of Nepal’s premier design and construction firm, Creative Builders Collaborative (CBC). Jyoti is one of Nepal’s first female architects. She is the Founder General Sercretary of SONA (Society of Nepalese Architects) and is in the forefront of women’s empowerment in Nepal, winning several awards and recognition for her contribution to the field of architecture. This project is the capstone to her prolific career and one she hopes will leave an indelible mark on Nepal’s architectural landscape.

Architect by profession, musician by heart, Deepak Man Sherchan is a renaissance man with significant contributions to various business sectors in Nepal, including construction, design, banking, hospitality, education etc. Educated in IIT and Harvard, a leader in his field of architecture with almost 50 years in the industry, recipient of several awards for architecture, Deepak’s extensive experience ranges from residential homes to multi- million corporate complexes.

Outside of work, Deepak is a philanthropist and spends majority of his free time in his village of Tukuche, Mustang, working on preservation of his village and local architecture by acquiring and restoring dilapidated buildings and funding local public school and education of village children, as well as investing in horticulture development in Tukuche.

Er. Manohar Raj Bhandari needs no introduction. He is the senior most Structural Engineer in Nepal. He has a career spanning more than 60 years as a Structural Enigneer and specializes in the Design of “Seismic Buildings.” He has a Masters Degree in structural engineering from Japan and is currently manages his own Company.

Architect Birendra Gurung is the recipient of the “JK Cement Architect of the Year.” He is a member of Nepal Engineering Council and Society of Nepalese Architects. He has worked on various projects in Kathamandu and Pokhara and holds a Masters in Architecture from Belarussian State Polytechnical University.

Er. Rajesh Pd. Shrivastav is a senior and one of the most experienced Mechanical Engineers in the country. His career spans five decades and you will most likely find his expertise in all the private projects that includes apartments, hotels, hospitals etc. He has been a consultant and has been involved with Sadbhavana Housing Developers Pvt. Ltd. since its inception.

Er. Upendra Badal is the most sought after Electrical Engineer in Nepal. He runs his own company and is a member of Nepal Engineering Council; SEEN (Society of Electrical Engineers of Nepal) and IAENG (International Association of Engineers).  A Masters from Lvov State Polytechnic University in Ukraine, he is accredited as an Electrical Expert by Government of Nepal, Department of Urban Development and Building Construction. Er. Badal has also received the ‘outstanding service award’ from the U.S. Government State.
